Edit Videos

Overview

When you create a new project or open an existing project, you’ll land directly in the Editor, your central workspace for refining and customizing your creative.

You can make changes in three ways:

  • Scenes for quick, scene-by-scene editing

  • Timeline Editor for more detailed control over individual layers

  • AI Editor Agent to describe the changes you want and have AI make them for you

Edit by Scene

Use Scenes when you want to work through your video one scene at a time.

  1. Start by:

    1. clicking + Create Project in the upper-right

    2. selecting an existing project under Recent AI Generations from the left navigation pane

  2. Stay on the Scenes tab.

  3. Select the scene you want to change.

  4. Choose what you want to edit from the Editor Panel, or click the scene directly on the stage to access contextual controls.

  5. Make your changes.

  6. Click Export.

Edit Using the Timeline Editor

Use Timeline Editor when you need more granular control over the individual elements that make up your creative.

You can move between Scenes and Timeline Editor without leaving the Editor.

  1. Click Timeline Editor.

  2. Select the layer you want to change, such as:

    • Individual scenes

    • Background music

    • Voiceover

    • Text

    • Logos

  3. Edit the layer directly.

You can also extend or remove layers from the timeline.

Add a Scene

To extend your video, click + Add Scene from the scene area. You can then edit the new scene using the same Editor tools.

Edit Using AI

The AI Editor Agent lets you describe the changes you want instead of making each edit manually. The agent can apply those changes directly to your project.

You can drag and drop the AI Editor Agent anywhere on the page.

  1. In the upper-right corner of the Editor, find the chat engine that says, "What would you like to do..."

  2. Enter your change request and hit enter.

  3. Respond to any follow-up questions.

  4. The agent applies the changes directly to your project.

  5. Review the changes the agent made.
