Edit in Editor

Use the Editor Tab to fine-tune your video — adjust timing, layout, and design for complete creative control.

Updated this week

Overview

QuickFrame AI gives you two ways to edit your ads: Story and Editor. Both options let you shape your creative, but each is designed for a different level of control. After editing in the Story tab, move into the Editor tab if you want to fine-tune details or manage complex assets.

The Editor is your full video editing workspace in QuickFrame AI. It builds on the Story Tab, giving you complete control over your ad’s layout, style, and timing. Use the Editor when you want to refine details or customize every part of your creative — from visuals and text to audio and animation. The Editor is ideal when you want to:

  • Precisely adjust asset placement, size, or color

  • Control timing across layers and scenes

  • Manage imported, uploaded, generated, or stock assets

Here, you have full control over every element in your ad: visuals, text, shapes, images, logos, video, and audio.

Go to the Editor Tab

  1. Log in to Quickframe AI.

  2. From the left navigation pane, click Projects.

  3. Click on the project you want to edit.

  4. Click on the Editor tab.

Edit in Editor

The Editor is divided into three main areas. Each area controls a different part of your ad.

What it is

What you can do

1. Stage

A clickable visual canvas that displays all visual elements in your ad. You can select, move, and resize elements directly on stage.

  • Select elements by clicking them.

  • Resize or move by dragging the corners.

  • Layer order by using right-click or the Timeline

2. Timeline

A horizontal view of all elements across your ad. It shows start times, durations, and layer order for scenes and elements. Drag and drop to adjust timing or reorder layers.

  • Adjust duration by dragging edges.

  • Change start time by moving the bar side to side.

  • Reorder layers by dragging the bar up or down.

3. Edit Panel

A side panel that updates based on what you select. This is also where you access your Asset Libraries for imported, uploaded, generated, or stock media.

  • Adjust ad-level settings (nothing selected)
    Modify scene-level options (scene selected)
Edit element size, style, and position (element selected)
Edit multiple elements together (group selected)

Replace a Scene

  1. Select the scene on the Stage or Timeline.

  2. In the Edit Panel, click Replace Media.

  3. Choose from four options:

    • Generate: Allow a few minutes for processing.

    • Stock

    • Library

    • Upload Asset

  4. The new media automatically updates in the scene card.
