Overview

QuickFrame AI gives you two ways to edit your ads: Story and Editor. Both options let you shape your creative, but each is designed for a different level of control.

The Story tab opens after generating a concept. It’s best for shaping your ad’s overall flow and making quick, top-level changes. It's ideal when you want to:

  • Quickly modify your concept

  • Create a first version of your ad

  • Keep editing simple

Most early edits happen here — adding or removing scenes, swapping media, and adjusting scripts so your video flows the way you want.

Media in Story is organized into two distinct layers: Overlay Media and Scene Media. Understanding the difference helps you edit faster and avoid placing assets in the wrong spot.

Media type

What it is

What it does

Overlay Media

music only

Overlay Media controls background music for your entire video.

Music added here:

  • Plays across all scenes

  • Is not tied to a specific scene

  • Can be replaced at any time

Scene Media

video + voiceover

Scene Media is the voiceover audio, which lives at the scene level so it stays aligned with the visuals and timing of that specific moment.

Each scene has its own Scene Media block. This is where you manage the content that belongs to an individual scene, including:

  • The generated or uploaded video

  • The voiceover or script audio for that scene

If you need to update or replace voiceover, do so within the scene where it appears.

Scene makeup

Your ad is built from scenes. Each scene represents a short segment of the video with its own visual, voiceover, and audio.

Each scene card includes:

Visual media

The image or video displayed.

Voiceover script

The dialogue or narration tied to the scene.

Audio track

Background music or sound effects applied.

Action buttons

The new media automatically updates in the scene card.

Edit Generative Scenes

If a scene uses AI-generated media, you’ll also see an Edit option to re-prompt or fine-tune it. Clicking Edit opens the Generate Video drawer, where you can adjust prompts, styles, and outputs. You can also fine-tune dialogue and scene details to create more natural pacing.

Regenerate Voiceover Script

⚠️ Warning: If your script is longer than the scene duration, the voiceover will be cut off.

  3. Click the Generate button.

  4. Click Save video to Scene.

The scene’s voiceover is replaced. Repeat as needed for other scenes.

Preview Your Ad

You can preview your video at any time by clicking the Preview button at the bottom of the Story view to view your ad in full-screen.

Preview lets you watch the full video without publishing, so you can check pacing, transitions, and overall flow before moving forward.
